Originally a commissioned piece for a video by esteemed WA-based astrophotographer, Dr John Goldsmith, the track’s genesis was also during the time that the couple experienced a deeply personal loss. ‘Twenty Two’ speaks subtly to the pain and emptiness experienced when faced with grief and the notion that life continues in different forms, beyond time and space, as we know.

Composed on a modular synthesiser, 'Twenty Two' signifies a change in direction for the pair having spent the past two years experimenting with modular synthesis.
